Black Hills Round Up June 30 to July 4, 2024

Six days of outdoor events the week of the 4th of July.  Rodeo events include barrel racing, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, bull riding and team roping.  Additional round up events include concerts, golf tournament, carnaval and a parade.

Fireworks can be seen on July 2nd and 3rd after the rodeo.


Annual 4th of July Celebration  July 4th and 5th, 2024

Festivities include a parade (July 4th 10-11am), arts and crafts festival, old fashioned games and live music.  Fireworks display from Pageant Hill at dark on July 4th – approximately 9:30pm.

Hot Springs

Fall River 4th of July – July 3rd and 4th

Guests can participate in the city’s street dance, community picnic, duck race and the Firecracker 5k/10K race.

Fireworks display is at dusk July 4th, displayed at the city shop.  Watch from Butler Park.


Gold Camp Jubilee July 3rd and 4th, 2024

Enjoy 2 fun filled days of events!  Most events located at the Manuel Brother’s Park.  Park, Playground, Skate Park & Splash Pad open both days.

July 3rd:  Vendors, Beer Garden and Live Music.

July 4th:  Horseshoe Tournament, Volleyball, Vendors, Beer Garden, Live Music, Main Street Parade, and more.

Fireworks July 4th can be viewed over the Homestake Open Cut.

Mount Rushmore

South Dakota’s Mount Rushmore Independence Day Celebrations – July 3rd and 4th

Visitors will be able to experience various educational programs, patriotic tributes and music.  Presidential re-enactors will be on site with presentations, autographs and will mingle with memorial visitors throughout the day.

There is no fee to visit the Memorial, however the $10 parking fee will be in effect. Active duty military personnel will park for free.

Fireworks are not an annually occurring event at Mount Rushmore.

Annual Independence Day Festivities – July 4th

Pancake Breakfast at the Veterans Hall.  Parade on Highland Ave from Park Way to Piedmont Park. Community Picnic at Piedmont Park with music.

Parade starts at 12:15pm.  Route:  Spearfish High School, South on North Avenue to Main Street & ends at Grant St.

The Sturgis City Fireworks display will take place at dark – approximately 9:30pm – at the fairgrounds.
