Mount Rushmore Lodge at Palmer Gulch
The Mount Rushmore Lodge at Palmer Gulch is the area's most complete resort facility and is located 5 miles west of Mount Rushmore on Highway 244. The Resort features 62 rooms/suites, 35 mountain cabins, executive lodges, and 500 camping/RV sites within the Mount Rushmore/Hill City KOA Campground at Palmer Gulch.| |The Lodge is a smoke-free property which features a 2-story granite fireplace, constructed by rock from Crazy Horse Memorial. It is a seasonal property which is open late April - mid October. Lodge guests have full access to all of the resort amenities and activities. Accommodations include standard rooms, premier rooms with balconies/patios, and suites with fireplaces and kitchenettes. All rooms have A/C, heat, private baths, and cable TV. Lodge amenities include a business center, hot tub, and sauna. | |Rollaway beds and cribs available for an added fee.| |Front Desk hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. | |A complimentary continental breakfast for Lodge guests include items such as breads, cereals, juices, milk, tea, and coffee.| |The nonsmoking mountain cabins offer kitchenettes or full kitchens. Unit types range from rustic cabins to executive lodges, which feature 1-3 bedrooms, designed for up to 12 people.| Take advantage of horseback rides up Black Elk Peak, heated pools, spas, 180' waterslide, sauna, miniature golf, or bike rentals. The newest property attractions include Splash Park with water cannons, ground geysers, and cylinder sprays, the KOA Jumping Pillow, and a climbing wall.
