Come celebrate Halloween in Deadwood. Deadweird is a little crazy, a little spooky, and a WHOLE lot of fun! Make plans for the 13th annual Monster Ball on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025 with a live band and dancing; and the annual Costume Contest with more than $5,000 in cash and prizes for the best costumes on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025. Both of these events are FREE, so come in costume or just come to watch – it is quite the sight!
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25 • 6-10pm • COSTUME CONTEST & PARTY • Historic Franklin Hotel
Register for the contest at the Historic Franklin Hotel. Judging in the Franklin Hotel from 6-9 pm. All participants must register prior to judging and pay $5 entry fee per person. Winners are announced at 9:30 pm on the stage in the Historic Franklin Hotel. Music & Dancing from 6 pm-10 pm at the Historic Franklin. $5,000 in Cash & Prizes! MUST BE 21+ TO PARTICIPATE.
