You may know the Black Hills as a summer vacation destination, but the attractions are just as hot in the middle of winter. The Black Hills are home to fabulous downhill skiing and snowboarding at Terry Peak Ski Area. You’ll find all the adrenaline without the crowds found at some of the larger resorts in nearby Colorado and Montana.

Snowmobile enthusiasts know that the Black Hills offer some of the very best trails in the region. Enjoy 350 miles of groomed and interconnected trails that weave through the awe-inspiring scenery of the Black Hills National Forest. The Deadwood/Lead area serves as a central winter destination, located close to the mountains and trail access. When you’re done in the snow, take the fun inside with Deadwood’s historic attractions, live concerts, gaming, saloons and fine dining.
