National Parks

The Black Hills are home to jagged peaks, colorful canyons and one breathtaking national forest. Explore Badlands National Park and Wind Cave National Park, home to one of the longest caves in the world.

           

State Parks

Custer State Park is home to 1,400 free-roaming bison and even greater up-close experiences with them. You’ll also find Angostura State Recreation Area, the George S. Mickelson Trail, Bear Butte State Park, Rocky Point State Recreation Area, Sheps Canyon State Recreation Area and Roughlock Falls State Recreation Area in Spearfish Canyon.
