Storybook Island
Storybook Island is an 8 1/2 acre free children's theme park. The park offers over 100 storybook and fairytale sets that kids love and parents adore! It's a place that children can use their imaginations, see a live theatre production, take a ride on Storybook Island Line through Middle Park. Train Rides are $1.50 a person. The park is 52 years old and truly one of the great treasures of Rapid City. It is a place where magic happens. They are Open Memorial Day to Labor Day, daily, from 9 AM - 7 PM, weather permitting.
