Your Black Hills Journey starts here. The Journey Museum & Learning Center brings together four major prehistoric and historic collections to tell the complete story of the Western Great Plains - from the perspective of the Lakota people and the pioneers who shaped its past, to the scientists who now study it. Interactive learning experiences such as the Wells Fargo Theater, Paleontology Tent and Learning Lab give you the chance to learn and play every day! DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC WE HAVE REDUCED HOURS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE: WE ARE OPEN THURSDAY THRU SATURDAY FROM 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. October 1 to April 30 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Saturday 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Sundays Summer Hours: May 1 to September 30 Thursday through Saturday 9:30 am - 5:30 pm Sundays The museum will be closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, & Easter Sunday
