Stretching 109 miles through South Dakota's Black Hills, the Mickelson Trail follows the historic Deadwood to Edgemont Burlington Northern rail line, making its gentle grade ideal for users of all ages and abilities. This Black Hills vacation takes you via bicycle through quaint Black Hills towns, over 100 railroad bridges and into four railroad tunnels. Package starts at $330 for a family of 4 and includes 2 nights lodging, bike rental, bike map and shuttle. Add extra nights and experience even more of the Black Hills like Mount Rushmore National Memorial and Crazy Horse.
