Kyle, located in Shannon County on the Pine Ridge Reservation, is rich with Native American History. On the southern edge of the Badlands, Kyle is on the Big Foot Trail (BIA Highway 27) which leads travelers on a journey that ends at Wounded Knee, the site of the 1890 massacre.
