South Dakota’s wine industry has grown to 15 wineries that annually produce over 300,000 bottles of wine.  One of our oldest wineries, Prairie Berry, is centrally located near Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse and in addition to offering great wine, they offer great events. Prairie Berry Winery in Hill City, South Dakota, offers complimentary wine tasting, shopping and fabulous lunches from Prairie Berry's Kitchen!  Prairie Berry offers more than 15 grape, fruit and honey wines to taste and purchase.  The winery offers “Bistro Evenings” that include four appetizers and Prairie Berry wines served on the patio.  The Bistro Evenings are available May 26, June 9, 23 and 30; July 7, 14, 21 and 28; and August 4, 11 and 17^th.  Daily private “Family Table Tasting” guides you through three wines individually paired with select foods.  Prairie Berry Family Table Testing is available 7 days a week from June 1 – Sept 6^th.
