The High Plains Western Heritage Center Museum, located at exit 14 on I-90 near Spearfish, features western art, artifacts and Native American exhibits chronicling the heritage of 5 plains states. Outdoor displays include antique farm equipment, log cabin, one room schoolhouse, live longhorn steers and buffalo. The Museum is open year round, daily 9AM to 5PM except major holidays. (CLOSED NEW YEARS DAY, EASTER, THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS DAY)
